Introduction
A site must be tested for electromagnetic interference. Hire service
available.
If you are in any doubt of the construction of the building it
is advisable to use our portable induction loop test equipment and
test it first. This saves having to deal with problems after the
loop has been installed. Hire service available.

What's in the kit?
Electromagnetic noise field strength meter
This test is mandatory. Using our field strength meter (FSM) will
determine if the site has electromagnetic noise. An induction loop
system must not be installed if the measured noise is above -20dB
as it would cause interference (a continuous hum) to the hearing
aid user and would not comply with BS6083 Part 4. Full user instructions
provided.
Portable induction loop and field strength meter test equipment
Because metalwork, particularly aluminium, can have an unpredictable
effect on an induction loop systems sound output level and performance
it is advisable to run a temporary loop around the venue and test
it first. This saves having to deal with problems after the loop
has been installed. The test equipment is a complete portable induction
loop system with a dual function field strength meter. The loop
system can be set up in the area to be tested and the dual function
FSM can be used to measure electro-magnetic background noise and
loop output level. Full user instructions provided.
